Following decades of economic growth, the world is now facing a series of threats once thought to have been resolved – pandemic, war, and famine. The COVID-19 pandemic has persisted for over two years, impacting global economies and security. Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine has cast doubt on European security, impacting regions worldwide from a geopolitical and geo-economic perspective. These combined challenges pose serious threats to Europe, Asia-Pacific, and beyond.

Programme & Information

Conference & Postgraduate Workshop: The two-day conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, with a one-day postgraduate workshop in parallel. Sessions are 90 minutes, with each presentation expected to last 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for Q&A. An experienced session chair will facilitate discussions.

Logistical Information

Accommodation: EUSAAP covers up to three nights’ accommodation for conference presenters. Accommodation will be in a single room (or twin room for workshop participants). Additional nights and guests must be paid by attendees.

Visa Requirements: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months. Visa may be required based on nationality.

• Guest registration: 01 July 2022
• Paper acceptance notification: 15 May 2022
• Participant acceptance: 30 May 2022
• Full paper submission: 20 June 2022

Withdrawals & Transfers: Due to commitments, withdrawal charges apply:

Transfer to Virtual: Up to 15 June: EUR 90; Up to 30 June: EUR 200.

Registration Fees

Participation: The event will primarily be in-person. Virtual participation is available for those unable to travel. In-person to virtual transfer fees may apply; no transfer is allowed from virtual to in-person.
